    There’s one of those signs on a country road outside of Sacramento that has a red nose, presumably made of Scotch-Lite reflective tape, thus becoming a “Sign of Christmas”.

    Reminds me of a story about a rural resident who wrote to the highway department, asking them to move the deer crossing sign to a safer location because she thought it was too dangerous for the deer to be crossing at the current location.

    We have been able to get some of these signs “corrected.” A real deer’s tail is down when it leaps.
