I wouldn’t know. I never managed to watch more than a few minutes of the original. I don’t consider stupidity funny and they seem to think it’s a virtue. You can’t fix stupid but you can beat feet. I was never around to see the redeeming features, I suppose. Goes without saying that I haven’t watched the reboot.
Why would you use the Rosanne show to try and defend trump? The show was watched due to curiosity hence the ratings. It is a dusty rehash and cringe worthy. I see your cartoon as a desperate attempt to pump the trump.
I would like to see aproactive, inclusive government of the people, by the people, and for the people, not exclusively for Democratic or Republican party members. To do that, we have to listen to the other side and try to see why they feel so strongly about political issues. Both parties should be able to represent all Americans, but how can they if they never leave their bubble.

America is a far more diverse country than some seem to realize — even within Trumpism — and much of that is because of tribalism and limited contact with people who are different. As voters head toward the midterms, it could be helpful for many Americans to learn why people outside of their bubble rejected the messages of the Democratic Party.
I resent that this program is called a program about middle class ideas, when it is truly promoting right wing Pro Trump fascism. Trump is doing his best to erase the middle class. In Trumplandia there are only the elite and the extremely poverty-stricken lower classes who live on the sufferance of and only to work for the elite’s benefit and never their own gain.
Roseanne Barr is a Liberal who is PLAYING a Conservative on TV for satirical laughs, and Payne bought it. He probably thinks Carroll O’Connor and Stephen Colbert are Trump-supporting Conservatives too.
Don’t worry Roseanne, these commenters are NOT your demographic. “Roseanne” drew 18.2 million viewers and a mighty 5.1 rating among adults under 50 on Tuesday, Although “Roseanne” has won generally favorable reviews from critics, some on the left have expressed feeling conflicted over supporting the show. Even when the critics see good writing and acting, when they are liberal they just can’t get over their hatred of Trump. Goes the same for our Mass News Media.
Roseanne Barr is a Rump supporter who also pushed those conspiracies about Clinton. Her show is a thinly veiled attempt to demonstrate both sides of the issues. But, her being the dominate character in the show, her ideologies will have more weight. Thus emboldening the Rump and his supporters. Bringing back that dreadful show is a sign of MAGA (Making America Gag Again).
I know I’m begging the question here. Yes, it is a bad thing for the Rump to have his agenda legitimized.
Most rational people would need subtitles or some kind of explanation as to why anyone would support the president at this point. I mean, I get how during the election people painted themselves into the “Anyone but Hillary” corner. If the nominee had been Kasich or even McCain I probably would have been right there with them. I still thought Hillary was the better candidate, but that is irrelevant now.
But NOW, at this point, I just can’t believe anyone still goose-steps to Cheato Mussolini’s March of the Lunatics!
Only seen the promos but sounds to me more like a show trying to paint all Trump voters as being as disgusting as the Roseanne character. A nasty woman is a nasty woman no matter for whom she votes.

A sitcom about a Trump-voting working-class mom in middle America who is too stupid to see what the Orange Idiot is doing to our country.
