Doesn’t work like that around here. Our collie is twice the size of our corgi, but he made himself alpha dog the minute his paws hit the floor as a pup. If we don’t keep an eye on him at meal time. he’ll vacuum his down, and then push her away from her bowl. She’ll walk away without a challenge. But when the cat got too close to her bowl once, the cat almost lost a couple of her lives.

Yeah our puppy is our alpha dog too. The other dog is too old to care.

Our two cats raised our pup. One in particular is “mommy cat.” She washes his face, eats from his dish, runs and plays with him….all 65 lbs of him.
