My dog does the same, runs her face along the blanket, makes those sounds, bundles and digs the blanket until it smells and lays just right.

Apparently all the shnurbles in my house are on the front of my couch.

Sweetheart rubs on it like a cat rubbing against your legs.

I have a dog who thinks he is a cat (shiba) and a dog who is normal (labby). If getting a dog… get the normal kind… much easier. Shnurbles to all.

My cat sits on the corner of the bed in the evening and meows until I come in the bedroom and hold up the bedspread so she can snuggle under it. Then I have to make an ‘airhole’ by lifting the part of the spread by her face, into a tube so the air can get to her. This is a nightly ritual. :)

The family poodle tries to “shnurble” the wall-to-wall carpeting. Despite repeated lack of success, he’s not deterred from repeating. Cat #2 sleeps completely under a blanket on a chair. Cat #1 (age 23) now is sitting in my lap with a “Whatever” expression.

To shnurble, or not to shnurble. That is the question!
