When you’re a cartoonist slash writer you have the luxury of drawing on your own experiences for material. Indulgent? Of course but we’ve never been shy about admitting “Mike du Jour” is largely self-referential if not just plain autobiographical and this weeks story line is no different.As many of you may or may not know we lost a member of the family a couple weeks ago, “Charlie” and while we’re still getting over it make no mistake one of the things I’m going to miss is that Charlie could be a real “Dick”. (see above cartoon)Cathartic? I hope so. God bless Charlie.
