If there’s anyone from Safford, Arizona reading this comment of mine, you’re probably familiar with Crandall’s Pharmacy. It was owned by my great-grandfather, then a granduncle, then a second cousin, then — as far as I’m told — it permanently closed. Guess it was hard to keep up with modern-day pharmacies like Rite Aid and Walgreens where you also cannot get a milkshake or cream soda like old-fashioned pharmacies did.
