I’ve had pie for breakfast once or twice

I’m sure you can still get plenty of sugar out of your breakfast cereal, Red. Besides the pie will be the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow of dinner.

Apple pie is better for breakfast.

Life is short. Eat dessert first.

Actually, mom, pumpkin is very healthy.

Healthier than most breakfast cereals.

I had pumpkin pie for breakfast today.

That counts for 1 vegetable. And, it probably has less sugar in it than most prepared cereals.

Turkey for breakfast is pretty good, too.

Nothing wrong with that,along cold pizza,etc.

When this strip first started didn’t Red have a brother?

He still does, mikeopipes. The back of his head was in yesterday’s strip, but he hasn’t been a meaningful part of the fun for a while.

It’s been tried many times by many kids, Red!

I’ve had cake for breakfast. Not pie though. Never have leftover pie. ;)

they make pumpkin pie poptarts now. they are very good.
