It is a slippery slope from taking guns away from psychotics to banning grandma from using knitting needles.

It is interesting to note that the Russian ‘quisling’, Senator Chuck Grassley, who was the principal sponsor of the very first piece of Republican legislation that Trump signed upon entering the White House, loosening the rules on allowing the "mentally ill’ to purchase firearms in America, was just caught on camera saying that Congress must strengthen the rules against the “mentally ill” being able to purchase firearms in the U.S.! And the truly AMAZING thing was that he spoke those words with an absolutely straight face! It was an “Academy Awards” performance. Bravo, Charlie, Bravo!

The one encouraging thing I’m seeing this time is that the congressional prostitutes are getting called out with tweets, comments, etc. that point out how much money they are being paid by NRA. Let’s keep it up. Sorry if I am being repetitive. I think we must keep it up to have an effect.

    From my state:

    US Sen. Richard Burr $6,986,620

    US Sen. Thom Tillis $4,418,012

The online OED has a very succinct definition for these folk:

Prostitute: 1.1 A person who misuses their talents or behaves unworthily for personal or financial gain. As in: ‘careerist political prostitutes’

At NO TIME in the foreseeable future will ANY REPUBLICAN, running for ANY OFFICE, from local County Magistrate to State Legislator, to U.S. "Con"gress, to President, EVER get my vote again! PERIOD!

This is how Trump makes America great again – by using assault riffles on our children. If thoughts and prayers worked, we wouldn’t have another mass shooting.

I find it interesting how so many people don’t think about what Rogers put into the title of this comic. “As American as…” School shootings are an American thing. They very rarely happen anywhere else in the world. For anyone talking about ways to make it stop… try to figure out why this is an American phenomenon.

Mass murders like this in schools, there are many other shootings but less than four isn’t counted as “mass” killing. It is The American Way. What the Radical Libertarians might call the price we pay for individual liberty and the right to self defense.

Thoughts and prayers is such a hokey respond with much more emphases on Thoughts ( a few minutes), and less on prayers, not really counted as real prayer.

The NRA is the abusive spouse who terrorizes not only his family, but the entire neighborhood. The GOP are the enablers who excuse and indulge the behavior.
