    Top-o-the morning to ya Vagabonds

    Wishing you and your own a happy St. Patty’s Day.

    No snow right now, but, the weather guy is calling for flurries this afternoon.

    An unusual annual parade in Burlington, VT today, the S.D.Ireland company puts it’s trucks on parade through the streets of the city, this benefits cancer research. The trucks sport a Shamrock on their side.

    Side note, at Christmas time they put lights all over one of their trucks and drive it all over the place.

    Going grocery shopping as usual this morning and when I get back home the smell of corned beef and cabbage will be making me hungry.

    An Irish bless for you;

    May the road rise up to meet you.

    May the wind be always at your back.

    May the sun shine warm upon your face;

    the rains fall soft upon your fields

    and until we meet again,

    may God hold you in the palm of His hand.

    Good Saint Paddy’s Day, Vagabonds,

    Mark, I always love to hear that prayer! The Irish sure have a way with words.

    Cleaning lady comes, so we have to hustle and put all my junk away. We’ve had the same lady for about 8 years. She is amazing! She works a full time office job and cleans houses on the week ends. She does the whole house (3200 sq ft) in about 2 hours. What she doesn’t do one time, she catches it next time. It takes me 3 days to do the same things, and then I hurt for two weeks!

    Gotta run. xoxo Happy Trails.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

    Happy St. Paddy’s day to one and all. Henderson has a parade to day, and a place called O’Shea’s on the strip near the big observation wheel is having a block party all day until 3 in the morning. They hire Irish dancing troupes and bands and generally have a wonderful time.

    Yesterday was a answer to prayer. Michael had his angiogram and he does not have a blockage significant enough for a new stent. So we were home by 2 yesterday afternoon and we went to our friend’s to play cards. The catheter for the camera went in through his wrist, so he has a huge pressure bandage on it that he will remove this afternoon. The whole thing was over very quickly and he’s doing fine.

    Today we’re doing a bit of cleaning and not much else. So everyone have a fun St. Patrick’s day and a blessed day overall.
