Why didn’t they put this statue scaled down a bit in the back of a Ram pick up? How about that? Or they could have one in the background of the “I have a dream” speech. Or they could digitize me and have me driving a Ram pick up. When you come up with a bad idea really run with it.
One of a handful of the ads I listened to (“mute” is a wonderful tool), and I immediately regretted it. Chrysler hasn’t made a decent vehicle in ………. well, ever. Their warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. I guess it makes sense that they should also be tone-deaf and classless. At least they’re consistent.
It pains me to say this, but if people are still repeating the name of the product a couple of days later, the commercial achieved what it was shooting for.
I took my tv to the curb after seeing one too many commercials about 35 years ago. If I had gotten another tv and saw Chrysler’s ad, I would have repeated the process.
That statue is a bigger insult to King than any commercial. You never saw him without at least a twinkle in his eye, usually he was smiling. Instead of taking a stone and trying to make it look like a man, they took a man and tried to make him look like stone.

If those trucks were built to “serve” why to I have to pay for it if I want to use one to help my community?

I have a dream that one day little ram trucks and cars will be holding hands with little ford trucks and cars

I think Dodge should apologize! Those commercials sucked! For such a great man to be dragged through the mud of commercialization is a crime!
