Stocks at record highs is great news for the rich who just got a great tax cut from the GOP. It doesn’t mean anything to the middle class who will see their retirement vanish to the rich and got barely anything from the tax cuts. It means even less to the poor who just saw their programs vanish.

The problem is that Trump is trying to take credit for the economy and unemployment. When the economy was improving and unemployment was going down under Obama, Repubs claimed he had nothing to do with it. Yet Trump is trying to take credit for these things that were already in motion under Obama and the first year of a presidency is based on the budget of the previous president.
