Pence and Ryan were wondering the same thing. McConnell on the other hand – that smile of his shows he knows the answer. But he’s not going to tell anyone.
You do not cut taxes in an good economy, that is when you can afford to increase revenue to reduce deficits and pay down debt. Apparently Republicans are lying about the United States being in a booming economy.
I don’t know when We the People started with the ‘endless election cycle’ mentality – maybe we have always embraced it. What is self-evident is that endlessly debating the worthiness and desirability of our primary choices after they have been chosen – fairly or no – undermines the very foundations of self governance.
Fight your fight and stick to your ideals and preferred public servants to the very last moment – that moment is when the dye is cast. After that point one must save all effort for pragmatic choices. There are winners and losers. We must abide by the choices our people make, like it or not – until next time.
Had Ms. Rodham Clinton been elected and her actions in the present pissed people off they would have every right to protest and to work against those actions. Projecting what she might have done as reason to oppose her is ignorant folly. The platform was solid, especially with Bernie’s modifications. ‘Lesser of two evils’ point-counterpoint is just a silly excuse to circumvent logical thinking, on par with ‘love it or leave it’. Debate and rancor must end come election day. Choose wisely.

It’s better to attack him on policy issues. Ridiculing his personality just strengthens him with his base.

That’s the first drawing of the president I’ve seen where he’s actually depicted as looking like he’s 239 lbs.

Dems are such losers because they’re made of straw. Moldy straw at that.
