I’ve had glasses two or three times and still don’t have my first car (not even first driving license).

It’s not the glasses. Have you priced hearing aids lately?

Go to Costco for lenses; and don’t change frames. I’ve had mine for thirty years.

It used to be possible to pick up an old beater for the winter for 25-50 bucks. That was almost a lifetime ago though.

My LASIK surgery cost twice as much as my first car. I figure I figure it will pay for itself in 8-10 years, because I’m back to cheap, single-vision glasses.

Any one who feeds hummingbirds please take note. NEVER make your nectar with honey!!!! They get a fungal infection and it kills them!! 4 cups of water 1 cup of sugar. Boil it and let it cool while you are disinfecting your feeders. You can make it more concentrated in the winter to provide more energy for them. No need to put red food coloring in the solution.
