Yes, McConnell (and Ryan, et al) is a whore for the moneyed class. If you think about it, trickle down really does work for them. A small portion of the the billionaire wealth trickles down into their campaign coffers. Unfortunately, pointing the finger at them does nothing to improve the spineless and feckless Democratic Party which vainly hews to the middle of the road instead of proudly and staunchly standing up for progressive principles.

For a man who never keeps his promises, I’m surprised that anyone expects him to keep his promises. If a politician promises you something, you can usually be sure that that promise will get broken. Never believe what a politician says, only believe that what he’s/she’s done in the past will be what he/she will do in the future.
