    Hopefully, the nose still works.

Yes, but her vision is still pretty spot on making up for the hearing.

I’ve never had a dog that was too deaf to hear car keys jingle.

It makes me sad when they get old. But one thing about our pets, they don’t feel sorry for themselves.

My rescue furbaby (a Pomeranian) has become both deaf and blind in the last 2 years and he also has spine and hip issues. His nose still definitely works. He knows when I come home just by my scent when I walk into my bedroom. He’s still my baby, and will be until the day he can’t go on any further. I will not let him live in pain. When it is time, I will let him go to the Rainbow Bridge, where he will wait with my other furbabies for me. I love them all so very much. They are much more loyal than any human I have ever known and show complete unconditional love.

@queenoftut….you are truly a compassionate person…all your furbabies were and are fortunate to have been loved by you…..and I know they have given you much love in return.
