The last I heard is that locations near Washington DC are the top considerations. Bezos wants easier access to be a lobbyist. Probably tops on the list are eliminating those pesky anti-trust laws.
Race to the bottom is right. Amazon doesn’t pay it’s workers very well, so which ever city “wins” the new headquarters will see a rise in welfare claims along with the number of new jobs.
Toronto made the cut without those insane tax deferment offers because of the educated workforce, quality of life AND a sane immigration policy available there.
