    Good morning Vagabonds.

Well the rain has stopped and we can expect the temp in the mid 40’s. Going to be a so so day.

My routine will go back to being the same.I can’t wait until warm weather and then can do something outdoors without a jacket on.

Until then may you all have good days.

    Good Freezing morning, Vagabonds,

Yep……MINUS 5 degrees!!! That’s the third day this year with sub zero temps. And supposedly the high for the day will be a positive 1. At least there is no wind!!! And, with the brilliant sunshine it’ll feel warmer in the house.

We watched a John Wayne movie that we never saw before: “Dark Command”. Actually pretty good movie. Especially since my boyfriend (Roy Rogers) was in it. And Walter (love his voice) Pidgeon was a bad guy. It was filmed all over my old stompin’ grounds from the Paramount Ranch in Agoura (M*A*S*H) to the Melody Ranch in Newhall. It was wide open spaces in those days.

Enjoy your day. xoxo to All. Happy Trails

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, we too watched a Walter Pidgeon movie the other night: Forbidden Planet. Gotta love Leslie Neilson and Anne Francis practically as babies. And of course, Robbie the Robot.

Last night we watched John Wayne’s “El Dorado”, with a very young James Caan and (of course) Robert Mitchum. I still love the scene at the end where they explain away Mitchum’s limp and use of a crutch on the wrong leg. Rather than refilm a complicated scene, they just added a quick conversation where Wayne chides Mitchum for not knowing which arm under which to use a single crutch.

Mike came by yesterday so I could give him the cross-stitch I did for him. He’s still roaming from couch to couch and doing “street performance” on the strip. He says he’s actively looking for a job, but I doubt it. He seems to really like what he’s doing. I despair of his ever actually growing up.

It’s 53 here with an expected high of 59. Not as warm as it has been for the past couple of weeks, but I’ll take it.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Hay Vagabonds

I’m behind my time today, I’ve been waiting for a plow jockey all day. (grumble grumble)

A fair day with temps near 30. Is it possible we’ve turned a corner? Won’t hold my breath.

Been an easy day except I split a few chunks of wood.

    Everybody have a good evening.
