Conservative columnist Max Boot can comment on Drumpf’s “s—-hole” remarks a lot better than I can. Here is his column in Foreign Policy Magazine from January 16th (he makes a lot of his columns free on his website): http://maxboot.net/last-week-was-a-degrading-embarrassment-and-a-microcosm-of-trump/

Evidently Stantis has never met a construction worker or a farmer. They are totally likeable, but you are not going to change them. And there is no reason to change them, unless you are a controlling elitist personality.

And the fact that he’s a lousy human being is what his followers LIKE.

He gives voice to all the ugliness they have inside.

@jbmlaw01….I have zero interest in changing construction workers or farmers. Make sure they get an education, perhaps, but nothing else.

Trump is disgusting for other reasons. He lies pathologically. He is a deeply ignorant racist, sexual predator, bully, glutton, fear monger, authoritarian, a probable traitor, and definitely a foolish, impulsive clown of a malignant narcissist with ADD.

Show me a construction worker or farmer with these characteristics and I will show you a mentally ill buffoon, who likely cannot be changed, even when the observable behaviors are cringe worthy.

@MS-SS…that’s an odd comment. Just because I want to protect American aspirational ideals and ethics you think I’m miserable? Oh, that’s so misinformed it’s laughable.

It’s precisely BECAUSE I want to defend America from internal enemies that I write so stridently.

I’m well educated, speak three languages, am a twice published author, have a terrific wife of 40 years, two grown children ( both of whom are happy, married, well educated, hard working, stable, funny, honest, etc.). I’m also wealthy, run a thriving global company, travel whenever I want, have a lovely house, and am generally living the dream. For fun, I read extensively, regularly ski double black diamond runs, bike up canyons, go solo backpacking in the wilderness, and volunteer locally to teach illiterate adults.

You might try to respond directly to my comments about poor pathetic trump instead of telling me how miserable I am. I am very, very lucky to be an American and cherish this country. I try to fulfill its aspirational ideals. Poor pathetic trump doesn’t even know what that means.

Do you? If so, refute my claims about trump one by one. Good luck with that.

Paying off a porn star with campaign money?

    What’s not to like?

Who knew Republican Family Values included so many mulligans?

Twclix, I find it sad that people would think that happiness and satisfaction in life can be bought, so that the more you buy, the more stunning your trophy spouse, the bigger your bank account, the happier you will be. On the other hand, I gather that for you happiness comes from your personal interactions and personal accomplishments more than from what you can afford in luxuries. A good house is nice but doesn’t come near to a loving marital relationship and children whose company you enjoy. And this is where you (and I) have the advantage over poor Trump. I am not sure he is capable of any real human relationship.

On another note, Thank you Scott for taking us back the days of yesteryear when “S&%#@” was spelled “S&%#@”, at least in polite society. In the war against troglodytism, every little bit helps.
