I have a longer walk to the barn to get mine. I don’t bother shoveling.
Made the mistake of leaving my generator in the polebarn one winter. Dragging it uphill in two feet of crusty snow proved impossible. Leaving it in the garage, hence forth, prevented any snow storm over three inches.
Build a breezeway. Male it wide enough to stack your firewood.
I use to do this now put it on my porch
