Reasons why Gary couldn’t have become an over weight slob after giving up being a killing machine. 1. He’s dead. Therefore his cells are dead. Meaning that the fat cells cannot be storing up fat. 2. The energy he gets from drinking blood is used directly and not stored in the body. The reason vampires need to drink each night. 3. He had to be fat before he was turned into an undead. 4. No metabolic rate, because he’s dead. He doesn’t consume food to build muscle and replace body because his existence is based on magical existence, which is why he drinks blood. Sorry, but Gary had to either always been fat, or he’s wearing a disguise now.
I’d love to have a one week run where Gary snaps and goes back to being a vicious killing machine to put Leo in his place. Then he could mope about it for a month and make things normal again. But it would be fascinating to see the reaction to his former self.
