Incompetence is a Trump standard for his appointees.

Sessions doesn’t have the authority to force state or local police to go after pot smokers, but it won’t surprise me if he dangles some sort of reward for those that will.

I remember warning a pro-legalization libertarian back in 2016, that Trump’s people wanted to restart the war on drugs & he didn’t believe me. Hope he lives in a blue state.

Shouldn’t that say “Black People Patrol”? It isn’t like Sessions (or the rest of the gang) are subtle about what they are doing

I read somewhere that there is a correlation between alcohol consumption and unwanted pregnancy. Who knew? Anyway, unwanted children are a drain on society. We should investigate the demon drug, alcohol.

This is another Jeff Sessions Smokescreen. He’s planning something along the lines of the Feds usurping states rights. The DOJ doesn’t really have the personnel or staff to carry out raids on all the state-licensed markets set up by the state’s that have legalized adult or medical marijuana usage. He’s trying to kill States rights incentive that will bring in a vast Revenue for the states that have legalized marijuana. He is trying to cause responsible investors to not invest in those businesses and to keep Banks from being involved in any form all transactions by those businesses. He will probably threaten Financial woes from a lack of federal assistance in times of catastrophic crisis in any of the states that have legalized marijuana.

There is hope that his idiotic stance on this problem will galvanized voters into action to force Congress to federally legalize marijuana.

This action seems to be directed by his paranoiac racialist ideology, especially since three-quarters more black people than white people are arrested and incarcerated for possession. That’s not because more blacks use marijuana than whites, since that usage is about equal by both races. It’s simply another alt-right white supremacist weapon in the abuse of those “others” and those “libertards” by a man who was quoted as saying that he thought the KKK were all right people until he found out that they used marijuana.

We pay attention to what we consider important and dismiss the rest. Republicans, in the main support, in league with republican backers like organized crime, as well as EVERY drug cartel in the world, a continued crack down on the legalization of marijuana (legalization blocks the pushers’ ability to tempt casual users to try ‘harder’ drugs, after all) and so interferes with the only truly successful capitalistic endevor in America, and we all know Republicans enthusiastically advocate capitalism (if the ‘capitalism’ is willing to support them with campaign contributions, that is!)

Marijuana equals independent people pulling themselves up by their own boot straps and starting a business without government help.

    Republicans hate it.

The comic and the comments are abysmally ignorant. All he’s done is revoke a 2013 memo prohibiting local AG’s from prosecuting when they feel it is appropriate.

Besides which, Sessions has not redirected any resources away from the opioid epidemic. Prosecutions are the least of the problem there. The real results will come through diplomatic efforts with the main sources and border control.
