    I do appreciate the quote and especially the drawing. That having been said however, If I were part of a religious order that provided for my basic needs, if I took a vow of poverty, if I didn’t have a wife and kids to raise and provide for, it would be so easy for me to tell someone to slow down, to relax, take it easy, etc… As it turns out however, I have to work for my food, work to provide for my family, and most certainly have not taken a vow of poverty. It’s all about balance, be there for the wife/kids when you are needed, while at the same time work to provide for their future, when needed.

    That is one of the many fake quotes falsely attributed to the Dalai Lama. He is active on the net and he has said many things, but that is not one of them; it’s a fake. It’s not even his style; he doesn’t moralize like that.
