Of course if pot were really legal he couldn’t do anything. Perhaps all those “courageous” lawmakers and opinionators should do something about that instead of dancing around the subject?
Big pharma could lose money if people used marijuana instead of Prozac, Lexapro, etc. so that’s a problem. Big pharma makes money off of the opioid epidemic so there is no actionable issue there.
Maybe, the tobacco industry could reinvent itself with pot. It’s not like they don’t already have the infrastructure to create product. Kentucky and North Carolina are good for growing both.
Pot can mess with one’s memory. Looks like the AGing Elf maybe be over token. Seems he can’t remember making a promise to Senator Cory Gardner that he’d keep his hands off Colorado’s and other pot legal states’ pot industries.
Great focus, AG Sessions. Everyone is really concerned about how the marijuana epidemic is decimating the east coast and rust belt and the violent gang culture it fosters.
Dec 5, 2016 – As a U.S. Attorney in Alabama in the 1980s, Sessions said he thought the KKK "were OK until I found out they smoked pot.” In April, he said, “Good people don’t smoke marijuana,” and that it was a “very real danger” that is “not the kind of thing that ought to be legalized.” Sessions, turned 70 on Christmas.
Alcohol is only 100 times more damaging than pot, and that’s just on the user, not the thousands killed every year by drunk drivers. It also, like tobacco, is more addictive. Then there’s all the medicinal value of cannabis, that neither alcohol nor nicotine can touch..
