We walked into the restaurant and the waitresses all froze and stared when we walked in. One of them finally walked up to us and asked (this was 1989), “Smoking or non-smoking?”
My friend Mark looked at her, looked at us, looked at her, and said, “Non-smoking. Don’t you know smoking stunts your growth?”
