Antonio Banderas was a celeb even when he was a Spanish person. Or am I the only person here who first saw him in a Pedro Almodovar movie?

“Each with its own charming and distinctive culture! (Except Canada.)”

That’s it. No more maple syrup, poutine or Mounted Police musical rides for you lot.

When I was in Australia in late 2011, they were airing the one season of Outsourced, which was a full year old, but they were also airing episodes of Glee that were not only from the current season, but they aired something like 8 hours (yes, hours) after they had aired in Los Angeles. (The tag line for the ads was, “Even we haven’t had a chance to see it yet.”)

Many of these things I didn’t even know – it’s good to read comics on a regular basis whenever possible.
