“Free will” is just an illusion, anyway. Everything you think and do is pre-determined by your DNA and life experiences. It only SEEMS like you’re arriving at independent decisions, but plenty of brain-scan studies have shown that your subconscious has already decided what to do several milliseconds ahead of your conscious mind becoming aware of it and flattering itself that it came up with the idea itself.
