The most likely explanation is that it has something to do with Mysta.
Earlier, when this story began we saw the Moon Governor meeting with Posie Ermine. We haven’t seen them for awhile and I was beginning to wonder if they’d be a part of this story, or if their meeting was just a subplot leading into a later story. I wonder if this is MG/Posie heading to the forefront.
Personally, I want Crystal to turn out to be a good gal and for Posie to turn out to be as rotten to the core as ever. Is that contradictory?
Whatever it is that has stricken Honeymoon, the extreme excitation of her antennae in panel 3 makes it clear enough that the shock is not from “hot chocklit” or from anything that Crystal has done, but rather is related to her lunarian nature. It could be a burst of empathic pain from Mysta, if she is in trouble, or it could be a hyper-messaging from Moon Governor. I think and hope that the pain will be short-lived, but I don’t know if Honeymoon will be able to identify the cause….
