I’m trying to decide if that bandaged foot is because of his “bone spurs” or if it’s the result of gout from his diet. I haven’t read anything about him breaking his ankle or his foot so I’m going to vote for???? Gout!!!! Which is very painful from what I’ve been told. At any rate it’s a good excuse for him to sit there and watch TV more especially Fox News. Nothing is as good as a misinformed POTUS to run the country.
Phil, above, makes a ‘comment’ about a female victim “waiting” forty years before coming forward with an accusation “thirty days before the election”, implying by his statement that the female in question was ‘just’ an opportunist publicity seeker (or worse!) And ends his screed with an insinuation that she might be of low moral character!
This is the reason I enjoy “The Rachel Maddow Show” so much, on MSNBC. Dr. Maddow not only reports the political news of the day but provides the ‘backstory’, as well. And she always suggests her viewers read the newspaper story that ‘broke’ the news, as well.
Had Phil cared to get to the truth of the allegations he would ave found that the particular female in question did not approach the well-respected “Washington Post”, but rather, was approached by the “Washington Post” reporters and was, in fact, initially reluctant to air her story in print, being fully aware of the fact that she would be viciously attacked by the supporters of Judge Moore (as Phil has just done, here!)
Phil, and others on the Right seem to think that the accusers of Moore, Trump and others so accused are, at ‘best’, publicity seeking golddiggers or are Liberals working their own agenda, while those ‘victims’ that accuse or have accused President Clinton, Senator Franken and other Democrats are poor victims that should be believed with no examination of circumstance! They are, in fact, ALL victims, and ALL their stories should be listened to and dispassionately evaluated! The attitude that Phil and his ilk have is pathetic! The rule of thumb they follow is as follows, “If the accused is a democrat, the accusation is believable without investigation; if the accused is a republican then the accusation is a base canard, no matter how plausible!”
