bit of advice - - remember your audience. Give this story to anyone but the English teacher.

Her narrative prose and composition is not too bad for a child. A little more length and good plot structure and she should get an ‘A’. Certainly better writing than Stephanie Meyer or John Grisham.

Heart in 10 years: “I want to go to the Prom with the quarterback, but if he doesn’t ask me there’s always Dean.”
Dean in 10 years: “What? The Prom is TONIGHT? Sure I’ll take you, Heart.”
Heart in 20 years: “I want to marry the rich and handsome movie star, but if he doesn’t ask me there’s always Dean.”
Dean in 20 years: “What? Our wedding is THIS weekend? Sure I’ll be there, Heart.”
Heart in 25 years: “Dean, I’m putting my foot down. We are NOT naming our baby ‘Zaphod!’”
