The height of regressive hypocrisy, Senate Republicans finish a tax law in a closed-door process, which will make abortion illegal, take away healthcare and allow drilling in Alaskan wildlife preserves. The GOP didn’t want to show the bill because they knew it was a disaster from the start. The Republicans refused to work with the Democrats for any part of this middle class destroying tax-reform for the rich. The Republicans negotiate among themselves and bring their measures directly to the floor leaving behind the route through committee hearings and votes, because they want to save the wealthy before the government shuts down and the president is impeached.

Why do Gorrell and the other Trump Disciples have to lie about every issue?

Most Republicans did not read the bill as it was cobbled together in secret and no Dems were invited to participate. Now that the Republicans have passed their social engineering scheme that they call a tax bill do we get to read it yet?What is that clause about the moment of conception stopping all abortions again?

The death of the American dream! The death of the American middle class! The death of America’s Financial system! Isn’t this what Putin wanted when he interfered with our presidential election? Aren’t Congress and the president doing enough to destroy our government from the inside out? How long before Russia annexes the United States as a protectorate territory like they have with so many other countries they in which interfered?

See, it’s ok if Republicans pass secret bills because a Democrat did it once. So it’s all Pelosi’s fault if we do.

I trust the middle class Republicans are dancing in the street with joy. They got the tax cut and destroyed what little of the the health care act that was left. Now if they can only overturn Roe vs Wade… the world will be perfect, but for the dreamers.

Gorrell, Obama and the Democratic members of Congress asked for Republican input and included several suggestions. The mandate was something that was in the original Heritage Foundation version and Grassley and many other Rs were all for it until Obama put it in ACA; now Repubs hate it. The bill was open for all to review at all times and there was a lengthy review process. The reason for Nancy Pelosi’s remark is that things were changing rapidly at the time she made that statement. So if she said something was one way and it changed, the Repubs (and probably YOU) would have called her a liar. Repubs met on inauguration night 2009 to pledge they would block ANYTHING from Obama, even if it was something they were previously for.

.Republicans took a small group of white men and put together the original plan. Then they added more Republicans, but did not share information and tried to avoid letting the CBO review it. There were handwritten changes being passed around DURING the vote.

You’re absolutely positive the private, funded by wealth, highly partisan, mutually exclusive, uncooperative, irrational, emotionally driven, self-serving, scornful of the public, writing legislation behind closed doors, two party system is the best way to govern the United States?

Gorrell must approve of the open dishonesty of McConnell and Ryan and all their fellow hypocrites regarding their tax sham!
