For Elliot? Certainly, since he doesn’t grow older and never has the chance to do all the homework for all the future classes he’d normally have to attend.
Right.
But it would certainly be wrong in the era in which most of us grew up.
I can’t even imagine what would have happened to me if my Dad knew of an assignment I didn’t finish.
Mind you, I’m not saying there never was one I didn’t turn in….
But I did my darndest to make sure my father never found out!
In fact, there were a few times, I realised later,
doing it would have taken less effort than all the elaborate procrastination, avoidance and camouflage.
BTW… the comment box is weird again…
and strangely inconsistent.

first it expanded, then suddenly contracted down to one visible line again.
