My cat used to like Whiskey Old-Fashioned’s. For those of you not aware it is a drink mixed with soda and bitters and crushed sugar cubes. Oh and plenty of Whiskey. She drank out of mine. She would dip her paw in. I miss my drinking buddy.
Cats are indeed not mentioned specifically in the account of the flood in Genesis. However, the Old Testament overall refers in several passages to dogs as scavengers, which would probably please Bucky to no end.

No cats mentioned in the Bible, which according to the way some people think, means that they don’t exist.
(Leopards and lions, sure, but no cats.)

I like the sign!
I’d say that Bucky crossing your path is likely to mean bad luck, though he is not a black cat!

An average 15-year-old cat has slept at least 14 years, not 10.

Cats cannot taste “sweet” very well, hence then term sourpuss.

I understand they can taste sweet better when they are eating a diabetic.

A black cat crossing your path is unlucky, nor when they do it across the street, it’s when they do it by stepping on your feet and you fall over.

Cats get a one line reference in Baruch 6 in the Old Testament.. (which is considered apocryphal in Protestant bibles…)

Technically, cats ARE mentioned in the Bible. Remember when Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den? Lions are a breed of cat.

That looks like Felix on the sign crossing the street or maybe Krazy Kat.
