Mr. Galvin is surprisingly healthy, despite being very old. Of course, most teachers are quite zealous (Mr. Galvin seems to be one of them) and always want to be with their students (those are good teachers).

Mr. Galvin should be suspicious every time Nate asks these questions.

As a substitute teacher, can I just say that teachers like Mr. Galvin do NOT help my bottom line out at all???

Not a big fan of this arc. It’s getting a little morbid for me, considering how crushed Nate is after he discovers that one of his teachers is probably not gonna need to be substituted. Not to mention how today’s strip was trash.

I would think that Mr. Galvin would want to get sick just to get away from Nate. I mean Nate did just say that he hated science.

Man Mr. Galvin let Nate down cold, Nate sure flu away from that situation.
