I tell everyone not to get me anything but to donate to an animal shelter instead. I stopped giving Christmas presents and instead give the money to a shelter. Some of the family were not happy with me but we all have too much “stuff”.
I was in the Big G grocery store in Marengo, Iowa yesterday and I noticed a big donation box for the local food bank and another for the local animal shelter. Both had lots of donations of appropriate food.

I keep telling my dogs that it wouldn’t be Christmas without foam antlers…they keep telling me that I look silly wearing them.
