I still remember numerous TV news reporters endlessly pronouncing “nuclear” as “nukular.” I guess, after 50 years, those reports are now being received by other stellar civilizations.
That is just a regional pronunciation. Though I am shocked that news readers said it that way. They are trained to enunciate to the optimum for understanding.
