I didn’t even go to MY “turn-about” dance back in high school. I didn’t decline the invitation, but rather received no invitation. Heck, I didn’t go to ANY dance (including the prom).

Ah, if only I could have been as cool as Snoopy when I was in school, I might have had a life.

We never had these dances in my school. I probably would have chickened out asking the boy I really liked and probably would have asked someone I didn’t care about…just out of fear of rejection. —-I would never want to be that age again! LOL

I wonder if CB is disappointed that PP didn’t mean to ask him to the dance?

I don’t know about the “World-Famous Swinger.” It looks like “Joe Cool”—BMOC—being invited to the big dance to me.

Peppermint Patty, You DO realise that you’ll have to wear a dress for the dance, right?

How old are these kids supposed to be. We didn’t have a dance until 8th grade graduation.

For someone who likes Chuck. Why didn’t she ask him.

Interesting. When I was in high school (1967-1971) it was called a Sadie Hawkins dance.
