Thats not being blamed, that is being questioned. And when it comes to the second, the artist is part if the industry not doing anything in the first place so maybe take a bit more cinstructive approach in that regard.
Even printing a toon like this, you can see the adventure women go through when they are attacked by men who aren’t even that rich or powerful. They are attacked for being liars and bitches. Women are blamed for the actions of men who have power over them. From Hollywood moguls, to the President, to managers at McDonald’s. Would this still happen if men could lose their jobs for standing up to being assaulted?
And do you wonder about the misogyny of sharia law? The one that requires all women to be covered from head to toe? Do you think it stops sexual abuse?? How about the 10-year old girl who had to give birth to her uncle’s bastard child by C-section? In history men have always blamed women for their own sexual weaknesses. In this country our forefathers had to put up with the Puritan blue laws which mostly blamed women for any sexual misconduct. Today we see it as the name-calling of women who come forward to accuse their attackers, their predators, if you will, with even some women blaming the abused women of immodesty, of inviting unwanted attention. Do you even wonder that women seldom accuse their attackers? Abused women are accused of inviting unwanted attention, raped women are accused of being c-teasers who get what’s coming to them. Do you wonder that people like Harvey Weinstein can go years without facing retribution?
I can understand why women (and some men) would put up with this, although it’s a shame they’ve had to. When you’ve dreamed of making it big in Hollywood, and you know that a pig like Weinstein can see that you never work again, you may put up with things the rest of us wouldn’t. There’s only one Hollywood.
I saw a documentary about the making of “LeMans”. The screenwriter disagreed with the star, Steve McQueen, and was fired. He said he never worked in Hollywood again. Even after McQueen died.

I thought powerful and rich men were entitled to abusing people around them. So when did this stop being America?
