Help that clown! Clowns are great! Well, a lot of them are, maybe not all, but a lot of them are.I’ve never understood this whole mass delusion/hate attack on clowns. Even after reading Steve Kings It. Clowns still not scary, as It was not a clown after all.
Over all, Clowns were/are great and awesome. Clowns I would think they would be no more likely to be feared by most kids than a store Santa. Unless, of course, their parents and friends encourage them to be afraid of them.
Of course, I grew up watching the older Bozo show, late 60’s through much of the 70’s. After that, well, not quite as good, plus I guess I was getting too old for that stuff. ;) I found Bozo to be a bit of a jerk, even then, but there was Cookie and Wizzo and some woman clowns, that often didn’t have names, go figure, but could do amazing things on unicycles and such. What great stuff to grow up with over all. Which I why I find it strange so many people have some weird mass hysteria about clowns. They were silly and slapstick and should have made you laugh not cower in fear. Then again, it seems there are a lot of people that scare easy.
