For a turtle, he doesn’t spend much time in water.
Just a quick point – it really is possible to be TOO hydrated. You can actually drown internally from drinking too much. Of course, Verne is a turtle, so I don’t know how that would work.
Why wasn’t Vern a tortoise? A turtle needs to be in water most of its like just like frogs.
