Or we could just actually do something to make it more difficult for people to access military grade weaponry….oh, sorry…..too soon. Actually too late for 50 people in Las Vegas.

Punish the law abiding on the right for the crimes of those on the left.

The National Socialist Democrat Workers party way.

While ignoring the doper drunk Dems in Chicago and all other big stinking cities controlled by Democrats. As long as it is inner city black on black murder, the lefty news nerds hardly mention it.When Trump wants to do something about it he is called a racist.

How many left wing groups actually advocate breaking US law?All of them refer to anyone who wants the law enforced as racists.

A modest proposal, from Bret Stephens, of the NYTimes:

In fact, the more closely one looks at what passes for “common sense” gun laws, the more feckless they appear. Americans who claim to be outraged by gun crimes should want to do something more than tinker at the margins of a legal regime that most of the developed world rightly considers nuts. They should want to change it fundamentally and permanently.

There is only one way to do this: Repeal the Second Amendment.

Repealing the Amendment may seem like political Mission Impossible today, but in the era of same-sex marriage it’s worth recalling that most great causes begin as improbable ones. Gun ownership should never be outlawed, just as it isn’t outlawed in Britain or Australia. But it doesn’t need a blanket Constitutional protection, either. The 46,445 murder victims killed by gunfire in the United States between 2012 and 2016 didn’t need to perish so that gun enthusiasts can go on fantasizing that “Red Dawn” is the fate that soon awaits us.

DENIS, the guns in cities that have passed gun control laws are coming from neighboring states. Indiana doesn’t care who buys guns and those end up in the hands of Chicago gangs. Your constant bleating about “National Socialist Democrat Workers party” doesn’t make any sense at all.

I have to admit to suffering conflicting emotions from this. I am so proud of the way people acted and reacted but so deeply sad that it happened at all.

No, if half the people in the building were carrying they would have shot each other.

As of 2016, the state I live in (Florida) had the highest number of gun deaths in a single incident (which was the attack against a nightclub in Orlando.) The rampage in Las Vegas has now pushed that city to the head of the pack. Sad statistics.
