In all reality , how òf dated is the Veer offense and isn’t a new offense usually put in during the off season and finally are those Pac Men on Gil’s computer , inquiring minds want to know .
Tell that to Concord CA DeLaSalle (“When the Game Stands Tall” movie) who has national record for consecutive games won, or John Curtis Christian School in LA, that has won over 25 state championships running the offense.
Also perennial state powers Mt. Carmel IL and Webb City MO.
GilPa’s Big Pocket Atari comes in handy (BAAAHHAAWWW!), showing Young Mike the X’s & 0’s. ADDING the veer to your playbook takes more than a week before you show it in the next game. Since when did Thor p take responsibility? Does he think the 2nd Place finish in The Valley is in jeopardy? And what does this have to do with a European people being in a rough spot?
P-1& P2: Gil implies there’s somethings MF (great initials by the way) could do better, then intimidates him by karate chopping his lap top while talking about smoothing out rough spots.
P-3: Veery interestingLike
For the Thanksgiving Classic, Gil will want to use the Wish Bone.
At least Milford has their priorities straight. No better reason to pull a kid out of class than to show him changes you’re making to your team’s offense. And speaking of offense, hopefully you won’t take offense to today’s Mopped Up Thorp.

Is Uncle Gary a yoga instructor? No middle-aged man could sit like that.

Speaking of polishing rough spots, grab that loofah and meet me in the shower room.

P1, But this shower thing, you need to improve on. Come with me, I’ve got a new loofa to try out.
P2, This is starting to sound like Mike Shanahan and RG3. That worked out so well, Shanny can’t get another job and Griffin ended up in Canada.
Gil, “Check out what we’re adding to the offense.” Wow, Gil, 4 little dog houses! Did we sign Snoopy?
P3, Way to go, Gil, even colleges stopped running the veer 40 years ago. Hey, maybe it’ll work for a while since most people have never heard of it.

The veer? You’ll probably get a concussion

Ok, I looked up Veer, so I now know that it’s putting as in “put,” not putting as in “putt.” At first, I though it was a feature of a golf course.

Putting in the Veer? Is that anything like Putting on the Ritz? That’s your song cue, Rick!

The Veer? Didn’t Matthew McConaughey try that at Marshall? How did that work out?

My HS team, and many others, ran the veer in the 70s. What you rarely saw “back in the day” was an offense working out of the now ubiquitous shotgun.
