Ok, I looked up Veer, so I now know that it’s putting as in “put,” not putting as in “putt.” At first, I though it was a feature of a golf course.

In all reality , how òf dated is the Veer offense and isn’t a new offense usually put in during the off season and finally are those Pac Men on Gil’s computer , inquiring minds want to know .

My HS team, and many others, ran the veer in the 70s. What you rarely saw “back in the day” was an offense working out of the now ubiquitous shotgun.
