^ So, in other words, the reason he did it was because he was an American. And that’s how Americans do things.

Actually, I have thought from the beginning, when nobody could understand what drove this man, that he had serious undiagnosed medical problems. When people feel horrible, or perhaps an undiscovered brain tumor, they act in unpredictable – and often horrible – ways. Think of George III or Henry VIII. An autopsy may find some interesting things, and rest assured Mr. Paddock’s autopsy will be thorough.

Harvard Study Finds Anger Issues, Not Major Mental Illness, Tied To Gun Violence

“The study authors argue that a more effective policy measure might be to restrict gun access based on an individual’s arrest history.

Arrests that could indicate a history of impulsive or angry behavior (for example, criminal records of misdemeanor violence, DWIs and domestic violence restraining orders) would likely serve as a more feasible and less discriminatory indicator of an individual’s gun violence risk."

“The group that we focus on goes far beyond regular anger,” Swanson told Mother Jones. “The most volatile people are slipping through the cracks.”

It’s like we’ve never heard before about mass killers: “He seemed so normal.” The other issue is if you’re white and Christian, you have mental problems. If you’re brown, black, speak with an accent, belong to any other religion than a Christian one, you’re a terrorist, even if you only shot one person and maybe yourself. The same thing applies to those who drive their cars into crowds btw.
