Andy doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘friend’.

Actually this strip is a clear indication Andy is in the final throes of alcoholism and is getting close to the bottom by begging for friends to enable his addiction. Crime is the next step down to obtain money to drink. Flo needs Alanon.
