By the looks of the geography lesson, it looks like Spain has a small portion in the Eastern Hemisphere.

That map makes it look like Spain is connected to Africa and not to France.

There is no part of Africa (including islands) in the south western hemisphere.

Yup it looks like 3 not 4..

a hemisphere would be half a sphere. There is a northern, and a southern, an eastern and a western hemisphere. Africa is in all four. There is a southwestern quarter sphere.

Object lesson there. Leave valuables at home when you’re going to the hospital.

Also, don’t have credit cards in shirt pocket during MRI.

And we can thank the British Empire as they set the 0 degree longitude meridian where they did.

So is Asia-the Eastern most tip is across the 180 degree long and thus in the western hemisphere

Forgot to add it is Russia

Why on earth would I want a necklace back if it was in that much garbage, not to mention it was in a waste plant?

Given that the four hemisphers are the north and south, based on the equator, and the east and west, based on 0/180 degree line, there’s no way that any of Russia is south of the equator.

Russia is not a continent it is part of Asia

It’s a pretty silly statement because while northern and southern hemispheres are mutually exclusive, they are not exclusive of the western or eastern hemispheres. Also, you’d really want to look at a plate map, since a continent is not necessarily defined by its coastline.
