Yep. I could go broke trying to find a copy of everything William Schallert ever did. Then there’s Denver Pyle and Olan Soulé. And….

Jack Elam always played the bad guy. He was in Have Gun Will Travel and the movie The Over The Hill Gang.

Thank God for IMDB……..

As you can see, I’m a Jack Elam fan.

Jack Elam has nothing on actor John Anderson. Just check out his credits on IMDB. He was in virtually each of the most popular television western series; many of them several times (e.g. 12 “Gunsmoke” episodes, “Rifleman” 11 episodes, and 6 “Virginian” episodes). He also guest starred on “Twilight Zone” (playing in 4 episodes including the iconic episode of the captain of an airplane that went through a time warp back to prehistoric dinosaur days), and had guest roles on “Dallas,” “Star Trek TNG,” “Quantum Leap,” “MacGuyver,” and memorable miniseries such as “Backstairs At The White House” and “The North and the South.”

Can’t leave out ’ol Gabby Hayes

Sheldon Leonard is one I look for. He’s the one the characters in Big Bang Theory were named after. He’s in everything, too, usually the bad guy.
