I’m sorry to say this, but I’m actually getting pretty annoyed by this story-line. Maybe it’s the fact that I actually like pumpkin over sweet potato. (shrug) Maybe not. I have no clue.
Don’t get me wrong: I understand the underlying message going on in this arc, and think it is a very good one. I just don’t like how it’s being presented. I apologize if I upset anyone with this view.
I don’t have a dog in this since I don’t like sweet potato OR pumpkin pie, but you have to learn to accept when people just don’t like something. If you remove the supposed competition, but people STILL don’t like your product, then you have to acknowledge the flaw lies with YOU, and not that it’s fine but gets overshadowed by something even better.
