I’m not saying it’s food but … it’s food.
So this is weird. I have Over the Hedge as the comic before this one. Both talked about salty snacks. :o

it is both but mostly dog love
I have had cats lick me for the same reason. We have salt on our skin, we need sodium chloride to live and so do they.
