Someone has this marvelous barn on the highway out of town. I’ve been admiring it for years, and they now allowed (for a fee, of course) an advertising billboard to be erected right smack dab next to it. UGLY!!! (with a capital UG!)
So, yes, the end was near!
Not the end of the road. The end of life, the Universe and everything. The end of 42.
They may be at the “other end” of the road.
