What is both really scary, and incredibly SAD is the fact that it takes HUGE Natural Disasters to get that bunch of incompetent Fat Cat MORONS in Washington to do ANYTHING other then vote to make themselves richer and to screw the poor and middle classes!

After 8 years of doing nothing except trying to “stop Obama”, Mitch has no idea how to actually govern.

The Republicans have shown us they are elected incompetents by those who liked their politics without seeing if they can do the job as advertised.

Which is why they wanted Trump as president. They could just sit back and collect paychecks and do nothing while Trump erased everything that Obama enacted for our country

The way to deal with them is to introduce term limits to them all. If it is an incumbent, vote for the other. Repeat……maybe one day, we will have pols that have realized that we the people are their bosses

LOPAKA, my representative should NOT be removed if they are voting the way that I like. Look at their record before voting (votesmart.org). Having new representation all the time will increase the power of lobbyists “here kid, let me show you how things are done” and big money interests to finance campaigns.

.The term limits I do agree with are power positions in Congress – chairs of committees, speaker, etc. When someone holds these positions too long other members of Congress are afraid to vote against them.

@daboogadie is it divine retribution or irony that now they are on the receiving end? I think a lot of the political woes can be fixed by making voting mandatory. Too many politicians slide into office because of short poll lists. And it would stop all of this BS with voting taxes and voter ID and making it difficult for voters to vote and it would stop gerrymandering. Most of the problems with voting polls is identifying who’s getting voted on. Who’s doing the voting. Voting districts, voting polls, the more complicated you make it, the harder it is for people to vote. Which is just what is wanted by those who don’t want to really work. Professional politicians. Just want to collect a paycheck. Don’t really want to work.

Nothing will wake up the republicans, they are deep asleep in their racist billionaire dream.

Today’s so-called conservative is so anti-government that he (or she) is reluctant to govern…

The GOP will do exactly nothing. They will not believe in global warming/climate change unless and until the entire globe is an unrelenting hellscape of fire and brimstone.
