They lost the Civil war AND World War 2. The Republicans of today will be putting up statues of Osama Bin Laden in the future. Losers looking for loser ideologies to follow and whine about.
There is no defense of slavery, however there is also no reason not to show respect to people who fought in the civil war to defend their homes. Very few were slave-owners or even had any choice in the matter.
@coopersdad robert e lee was a slave owner and not a very nice one. he doesn’t deserve any respect and deflecting the argument to an irrelevant fact doesn’t take away from that…
